FAN FAIR POISED TO BE BIGGER AND BETTER THAN EVER IN 2002

Alan Jackson, Martina McBride, Lee Ann Womack, George Jones And Others Confirmed

NASHVILLE – Building on the overwhelming success of Fan FairÒ 2001, with record-breaking attendance and a successful move to Downtown Nashville, Fan Fair 2002, Thursday through Sunday, June 13-16, 2002, promises to be the must-see event for Country Music enthusiasts around the world.  With hundreds of artists expected to participate and more than 30 hours of concerts at venues centrally located in Downtown Nashville, Fan Fair truly is “The World’s Biggest Country Music FestivalÔ.”

Headlining the excitement are four nights of concerts at Adelphia Coliseum, home of the NFL Tennessee Titans.  With state-of-the-art production, the two huge concert stages at Adelphia will feature 20 hours of entertainment from some of Country’s top stars. Already scheduled to perform are 13 of 2001’s top 40 selling acts: Jessica Andrews, Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney, Diamond Rio, Sara Evans, Alan Jackson, Toby Keith, Martina McBride, Jamie O’Neal, Brad Paisley, SHeDAISY, keith urban and Lee Ann Womack.  Many more acts will be added to the Adelphia Coliseum shows in the coming weeks.

Other artists currently set to appear at Fan Fair 2002 include Trace Adkins, Chad Austin, Steve Azar, John Berry, BlackHawk, Chad Brock, Chris Cagle, Anita Cochran, Tammy Cochran, Elizabeth Cook, Billy Ray Cyrus, The Derailers, Daisy Dern, Joe Diffie, Deryl Dodd, Kristin Garner, Vince Gill, Pat Green, Andy Griggs, Ty Herndon, Steve Holy, Jolie & The Wanted, George Jones, Tracy Lawrence, Little Big Town, Lonestar, Brad Martin, McBride & The Ride, Lila McCann, Neal McCoy, Mark McGuinn, Allison Paige, Perfect Stranger, Michael Peterson, Rascal Flatts, Collin Raye, Charlie Robison, Leslie Satcher, Blake Shelton, Jeffrey Steele, Chalee Tennison, Cyndi Thomson, Trick Pony, Trini Triggs, Phil Vassar, Wild Horses, Mark Wills and Darryl Worley. 

In addition to the big nightly shows at Adelphia Coliseum, Fan Fair 2002 will feature daily concerts on the stages at Riverfront Park, nearly 30 hours of autograph signings Thursday-Sunday at Nashville Convention Center, late night music at Downtown clubs as part of Fan Fair After Hours.

The stars of NBC Daytime will also make an encore appearance with actors from the NBC top-rated soaps “Days of our Lives” and “Passions” greeting fans and signing autographs at various events. 

Four-day tickets include concerts at Adelphia Coliseum and Riverfront Stages, daily admittance to exhibits and autograph booths at the Nashville Convention Center, free in-town shuttles, Fan Fair limited edition collectors program book, special discounts to area attractions, restaurants, shops and more.

There are many other exciting Fan Fair week activities for Country Music fans to take part in including the City Of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge on Thursday, June 13 at 1:00 PM at Nashville’s Greer Stadium, where today’s hottest Country Music stars lace up their cleats for charity (tickets are available through Ticketmaster);  Superstar Spectacular Benefit Thursday, June 13 at 11:00 PM – 2:00 AM at the Grand Ole Opry House;
